Charles Kelley was twin of William Kelley according to my info. Their father was Joel Kelley and mother Catherine McCauliff was sister of my 2gfather, William McCauliff.
William never lived in Butler County but brother John McCauliff and wife Susan Biggs McCauliff and their family did. Also, sister MaryAnn McCauliff Crotty Doyle. Son from her first marriage to Patrick Crotty, Joseph Patrick Crotty also lived there and was married to Magdalena Wilt who died at 30 after childbirth. Child also died soon after. Michael Doyle was 2nd husband and he might have died in Wisconsin, probably Lafayette County as this was where family lived before moving to Butler. Doyle, Crotty family plus grandmother Mary Barry McCauliff are all buried in Dumont cemetery. Since I received the Kelley info after I looked up cemetery, they might be buried there also. I think the family also lived in Bristow according to some info I just received from another Iowa researcher. I haven't followed up on that as yet.

So glad to make contact with another McCauliff researcher. CR
