William Rohrbecker, servant

ROHRBECKER, FOLKER, FOLKERS, FOLKERT FAMILY SERVANT

I am researching my husband's family. His grandfather had a brothers named William (Will) Rohrbecker bn. 12 Oct 1882, Brooklyn, N.Y. (and many alternate spellings and Charles Rohrbecker. The father died in 1898 in Brooklyn, N.Y. In 1900 William appears in the West Point Township, Butler Co., Iowa census as a servant, living with the Folkers family (ED 72 at the bottom of the page and the top of next page) I believe he was too old for orphan train adoption so was placed as a servant. Are there any court or newspaper or other records to prove this? I don't know what N.Y. Home sent him west with brother Charles. By 1905 he was in Hayes, South Dakota. He never married.

Any indenture, newspaper clipping, or miscellaneous information would be helpful.
