I just found out my ggrandfather died in Bristow, Butler Co., IA some time before 1931. I believe he went there after 1900 due to a 1902 divorce from my ggrandmother in Greene Co., MO.
He was born 1854 in Cambridge, Story Co., IA, moved to Cedar Co., MO with his parents abt 1877. He started the first newspapers in the area, some still in business. He may have been in the News Paper Business or a printer in Bristow. The divorce papers say he left the state so could not be served.
A 1938 interview with his brother gave the death date of before 1931 in Bristow. My grandfather always said his parents died when he was young so I believe William died from 1903 to maybe 1920. Any info would help.
