The children appear to be living with their grandparents in Holman, Osceola Co, Iowa, in the 1895 census:
Peter Davids, 61, b Germany
Gurtie, 63, b. Germany
John, 28, b Germany
Louisa, 12, b Butler County
Peter, 11, b Butler County
Gurtje, 10, b Butler County
Willie, 8, b Hardin County

They're still there in 1900 with the exception of Willie. Also, Louisa is listed as Lissi and Gurtje as Kati.
