Nathan Pauley, who has made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Charles Myrick, the past year, has returned to Waterloo, bought back his former business, restaurant and grocery, and will close out the restaurant and keep a grocery store. Mrs. Myrick accompanied him to Waterloo, Tuesday of last week, and visited among relatives until Sunday.

Mrs. C. Myrick Died Tuesday

Funeral service for Mrs. Charles Myrick, 70, Clarksville, were held Thursday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Markle and at the Church of Christ in charge of the Rev. Bernard Olson. Burial was in Lynwood cemetery.

Mrs. Myrick died Tuesday in the home of the daughter, Mrs. Markle, where she had been staying during the last year.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Pauley, Lily Mae Pauley was born in Clarksville June 5, 1873. She was married to Frank Hoard on September 1, 1890, at Charles City. They were the parents of two children, Mrs. Markle and Charles Hoard who died in February, 1941. Mr. Hoard died in September, 1919.

She was marrried to Charles Myrick May 6, 1921. Surviving besides her husband and daughter are four sisters, Mrs. Drota Holms and Mrs. Ida Hamlyn, both of Waterloo, Mrs. Lizzie Worley of Sulphur, Oklahoma and Mrs. Claude Howe, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
