Rites on Saturday for Mrs. J.J. Gough

Mrs. J.J. Gough was born Delight E. Walsh, June 22, 1893 at Clarksville, Iowa to the late William and Ida Walsh. She attended school at Clarksville and Iowa State Teachers College.

She taught near Clarksville before her marriage to Joseph J. Gough of Bristow, February 24, 1915. To this union five children were born: Mrs. Eurgil (Margaret) Crawford of Tampa, Flordia, Edward of Chicago, Illinois, Mrs. Gilbert (Helen) Carey of Cleveland, Ohio, Joe Jr. of Harvey, Illinois and Jerome Paul at home.

She is survived by her husband, Rev. J.J. Gough of Mount Carmel, Illinois, five children, ten grandsons, one granddaughter, one brother, Robert Walsh of Nashua, two sisters, Mrs. Beancy Coon of Clarksville and Mrs. Delila Amick of Allison.

Services were conducted at the Community Church at Clarksville, Saturday with interment at Lynwood cemetery. Rev. Gough's brothers, Rev. Edward Gough of New Hartford and Rev. Wilford Gough of Wichita, Kansas conducted the services.
