Rites Held for Mary Van Vlack

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Van Vlack, 79, were held at the Kaiser - Corson Funeral Home in Waverly on Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Van Vlack, who resided in Waterloo the past six years, was a patient in Mercy Hospital in Waverly for the last month.

Mrs. Van Vlack was well known in Butler County as she was the County Recorder from 1930 to 1956 when she retired.

Survivors incluce ten children, twenty three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Mrs. Dean Davis of Greene, a cousin, attended the services. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Shell Rock.
