Rites Thursday for Mrs. L. Hesalroad

Mrs. Lizzie Hesalroad, 84, died Monday forenoon in Cedar Falls, whee she had made her home for the past few years. She was born on January 5, 1874, at Greene, where she spent most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lou, who passed away a number of years ago. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Galen Gates and Mrs. Darrell Kingery of Cedar Falls; Mrs. Dale Shook of Plains, Montana and Mrs. Andrew White of Grand Marias, Minnesota; one son, Paul, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; one foster son, Dean Crosby, of Sacramento, California; and several grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Clarence McCracken of Greene and one brother, Elmer Pringle of Shell Rock.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Williams Mortuary, with Rev. Russell Casey, pastor of the Church of Christ at Hampton officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
