Last Rites Held For Mrs. Charles Funnell

Funeral services for Mrs. Charles Funnell, who passed away at the Lutheran hospital, in Hampton, Friday afternoon, were held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, at the Johnson funeral home, in Hampton and at 2:00 o'clock at the Methodist church, in Hansell. Rev. H M. Tiffany, pastor of the church was in charge of the final rites and burial was made in the Harlan cemetery.

Mrs. Funnell had been in ailing health for some time.

Mrs. Funnell was born March 25, 1885, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Jamison, near Dumont. She was married to Charles Kelly, in Dumont, and to this union was born a son, Glen Kelly, who survives, and who resides in Hansell.

Married In 1906

On March 14, 1906, she was married to Charles Funnell, at Aplington, who also survives. Besides her husband and son, Mrs. Funnell is survived by her mother, Mrs. Jamison of Sheffield; a brother, Mann Jamison, of Pequot Lakes, Minnesota; and a sister, Mrs. Ross Bloom, of Hampton. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.

Mrs. Funnell attended the United Brethren church in her younger days, but later on transferred her attendance to the Methodist church which she has helped to established and maintain thru the years.
