Anna Victoria (Crawford) Riddle
August 4, 1866 --- November 13, 1941

MRS. ANNA RIDDLE

Mrs. Anna Victoria Riddle, 75, former resident of Hampton, Ia., who had been making her home with her son, Glen Riddle, 1415 Lafayette street, for the past two months, died at Allen Memorial hospital at 10:45 p. m. Thursday of complications incident to advanced age. Anna Victoria Crawford was born on Aug. 4, 1866, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Crawford, at Postville, Ia. She was married to William H. Riddle at Hampton, Ia. in 1882. Her husband died 17 years ago. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lottie Savage, Waverly, Ia., and Mrs. Gay Savage, Shell Rock, Ia., three sons, Glenn, 1415 Lafayette street; La Mott, 214 Denver street, and Clinton, Owatonna, Minn.; three sisters, Mrs. Jessie Green, Cedar Rapids, Ia.; Mrs. George Van Every, Mason City, Ia., and Mrs. Lute Sanders, Hampton; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Riddle had made her home with the daughter at Shell Rock for about years, before coming to Waterloo two months ago. Prior to that she had resided at Hampton for many years. The body was taken to the Kearns Garden chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:15 p. m. Sunday at the Whitaker funeral home at Shell Rock. Burial will be in Chapin, Ia.
