Mrs. Lottie D. Soule

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p. m. in Jebe funeral home at Shell Rock, Ia., for Mrs. Lottie D. Soule, 61, of 507 Broadway, who died Monday night in St. Francis hospital following a long illness of carcinoma. She had been hospitalized periodically for the last two years; her daughter, Mrs. Kenneth H. Wilson, 507 Broadway, also cared for her in her home.

She was born Sept. 20, 1887, at Carbondale, Colo., daughter of William H. and Anna V. Riddle, and moved with her family to Iowa to a farm near New Hampton during her childhood. On Feb. 15, 1905, she was married to Perry E. Savage, who preceded her in death about eight years ago. They had farmed near Shell Rock, Ia., for many years, and following his death she moved to Waterloo. Later she was married to Fred D. Soule. Surviving are her husband, who is teaching high school in Crystal Lake, Ia.; her daughter, Mrs. Wilson; two grandchildren; three brothers, Glen Riddle, 1415 Lafayette street, Clinton, Owatonna, Minn., and LaMott, 215 Home Park Boulevard. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery, Shell Rock.
