“Funeral services for Mrs. E. E. Wilder were held in her home at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon with Rev. Noel Orcutt in charge of the prayer service. Burial was held in Lynwood cemetery.
Mrs. Wilder passed away about 7:30 last Thursday following a stroke which she suffered some time ago, and complications.
Hannah Priestly, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Priestly, was born at Dixon, Illinois, November 22, 1863. She became the bride of Ernest Wilder in Allison on March 29, 1883. The couple lived in Vermont for two years after their marriage and then returned to this community where they made their home on a farm 5 miles west of town until 19 years ago when they discontinued farming and moved to Allison. She was preceded in death by one son, Fred, who died several years ago.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Art Neal, of Shell Rock, three sons, Dana of Waterloo, and Harry and George T. of Allison. Also 11 grandchildren of which three are in the armed service, and five great grandchildren.
