Peter William Kramer, 93, of Clarksville, died Monday, Feb. 7, at Community Nursing Home, Clarksville, of natural causes.

He was born Dec. 1, 1917, near Aplington, son of Jurren and Dina Rops Kramer. He married Elsena Timmer on Aug. 25, 1941, at Christian Reformed Church on Butler Center Road.

Mr. Kramer farmed several farms in Butler County before moving to the home farm west of Clarksville in 1953, retiring in 1970. After retirement he worked for the Clarksville Lumber Co. for several years. He was a member of Bristow Church of Christ.

Survived by: his wife; two daughters, Diane Renning and Darla (Dee) Dowden, both of Clarksville; a son, Gary (Mary) of Clarksville; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-granchildren.

Preceded in death by: a sister, Tena Behrends; a brother, John; six siblings in infancy; a son-in-law, Edward Renning; a grandson; and a great-grandson.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Bristow Church of Christ, Bristow, with burial in Lynwood Cemetery, Clarksville.

Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Redman-Schwartz Funeral Home, Clarksville, and for an hour before services Thursday at the church.
