APLINGTON — Henry Jacob Wolff, 90, of Aplington, died Monday, Aug. 23, at Maple Manor Village in Aplington of natural causes.

He was born Aug. 11, 1920, on the family farm in Butler County, son of Jacob and Dena Frey Wolff. He married Anna Marie Frieling June 4, 1946, at Bethany Presbyterian Church, Grundy Center. She died March 9, 2002.

He graduated from Aplington High School in 1939 and farmed with his parents. He was a member of Aplington Baptist Church.

Survived by: twin daughters, LaDonnis Wolff of Aplington and LaDonna (Don) Graves of Dike; two sons, LaVern (Cindy) of Aplington and Gary of Walnut Creek, Calif.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Swanetta Hemmen of Aplington; and sister-in-law, Berdena Wolff of Aplington.

Preceded in death by: a brother, Garrelt; a sister, Luella Wolff; a brother-in-law, Bill Hemmen; a niece; and a grandniece.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Aplington Baptist Church, with burial in Pleasant View Cemetery, both in Aplington.

Public visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Redman-Schwartz Funeral Chapel, Aplington.
