John Jr. Henrichs age 49, of Shell Rock and formerly of Waverly, died Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at his home.

John was born on April 27th, 1958 in Waverly, Iowa the son of John R. and Shirley Ann Miller Henrichs.

He was raised in the Waverly and Shell Rock areas and graduated from the Waverly – Shell Rock High School in 1976. He then went to work for Cedar Lane Products where he has worked for the past thirty years. On June 10, 1978 John was united in marriage to JeanNette Rae Bahlmann at the Faith Lutheran Church in Shell Rock. John’s enjoyments included playing dominoes, cards, John Wayne movies, fishing, hunting, collecting guns, woodworking, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren and family

His memory is honored by his wife Jeannette Henrichs of Shell Rock, his son, Jeremiah Henrichs and his wife Jennifer of Alexander, his daughter, Lisa Mueller and her husband Matt of Plainfield, his three grandchildren, Toby, Anne, and Avery, his parents, John and Shirley Henrichs of Allison, a sister, Cindy Frericks of Clarksville, two brothers, Jeff Henrichs and wife Callie of Shell Rock, and Joel Henrichs and wife Donna of Munds Park, AZ, and his mother-in-law, Betty Bahlmann of Waverly.

John was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father-in-law, Clarence Bahlmann.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, November 24th, 2007 at the Faith Lutheran Church in Shell Rock with Pastor Steven McGinley officiating.

Interment will follow at the Riverside Cemetery in Shell Rock.

Family will greet friends on Friday, November 23rd at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly where they will greet friends from 4 until 8 pm.

A memorial has been established in his name.
