Funeral services for Beatrice Rosella Schuknecht, 90, of Greene, will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Greene with Rev. Msgr. Walter Brunkan officiating.

Burial will be in the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Greene.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Reid’s Funeral Chapel, 519 N. First St. Greene followed by a Scriptural Wake at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Greene.

Beatrice Rosella Albrecht was born February 11, 1920, a daughter of Joseph Paul and Ethel Irene (Crosby) Albrecht and died Saturday, April 17, 2010, at the Liebe Care Center in Greene.

She received her education in the Sacred Heart Academy in Greene, graduating in 1938. She has been a active life long member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Greene.

Beatrice was united in marriage to Ivan “Ike”Schuknecht on February 6, 1940. The couple farmed near Greene until 1981 when they moved into town.

She enjoyed fishing, bowling, crosswords, embroidery work, and visiting with friends.

Living family members include Nephew: Larry (Tina) Albrecht of Greene; Katherine Schuknecht of Greene, Kathryn E. Schuknecht of Greene; many other nieces, nephews, and relatives.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan “Ike” in 1988; son: Stephen; Parents; three Brothers: Allie, Marvin and Edward.
