Josephine (Huting) Doescher

SERVICES FOR MRS. JOSIE DOESCHER TUESDAY. . . . Mrs. Josie Doescher, nee Huting was born Nov. 16, 1887 in Grundy County. On Jan 8, 1908 she married Mr. Chris Doescher who died Feb. 19, 1951. Mrs. Doescher became ill suddenly after attending the Good Friday evening service at Salem Lutheran Church, Parkersburg. She was rushed to Allen Memorial Hospital where she died about 1 a.m. Saturday. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Herman Rindels, Laura, of Dike; Mrs. George McCulley, Bernice, of Hudson; and Mrs. Adrian Huffman, Doreen, of Waterloo; also by five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Doescher were held at Salem Lutheran Church Tuesday afternoon with burial taking place in Oak Hill Cemetery, Parkersburg, Rev. Werner Trelle, pastor officiated. Nephews of Mrs. Doescher acted as pall bearers.
