Charles H. Bunker-Charles H. Bunker died Sunday morning in his home, 805 West Fourth street, of a heart attack. He was 70 years old, and had been a salesman for the Waterloo Memorial company for the last four years.

He had been in good health until a previous heart attack last Tuesday.

Mr. Bunker came to Waterloo in 1919 and was employed by the Waterloo Chemical company until 1922, when he became associated with Rose’s Barber & Beauty Supply house. He was employed there 15 years.

Born Aug. 1, 1871 at Lena, Ill., he was the son of Hollis M. and Hannah Bunker. While a boy he moved with his parents to a farm near Bristow, Ia.

He married Stella Surfas at Bristow in 1898 and they made their home in Denver, Colo. She died in 1906. He married Eunice I. Needham in Waterloo Nov. 11, 1908. Until 1919 they lived in Greene, Ia., where Bunker operated a meat market.

He was a member of the Masons, Eastern Star, White Shrine, United Commercial Travelers, Waterloo Business and Traveling Men’s association, and First Methodist church.

Surviving besides the widow are two sons by the first marriage, C. Lloyd, Muscatine, Ia., and Harry S., Palo Alto, Cal., and four grandchildren.

Services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. by Rev. Will W. Bowers, of Cedar Falls, at the O’Keefe & Towne chapel, Burial will be in Oakhill cemetery, at Bristow.

Two Sons, Newspaper Men, At Funeral Of Charles H. Bunker- Harry S. Bunker, Palo Alto, Cal., treasurer of Speidel Newspapers, Inc., and C. Lloyd Bunker, Muscatine, Ia., advertising manager of the Muscatine Journal, attended services here Tuesday afternoon for their father, Charles H. Bunker, who died Sunday in his home, 805 West Fourth street. Services were conducted at the O’Keefe & Towne chapel by Rev. Will W. Bowers, Cedar Falls. Burial was in Oakhill cemetery, Bristol, Ia.
