David L. Jepperson, 55, died Wednesday, October 26 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Herman Luck, after an illness extending over a period of years.
He was born on a farm south of New Hartford, son of Laurence and Margaret Corwin Jepperson. He married Miss Florence Haney and to this union was born three daughters and one son.
He is survived by the children, Mrs. Ruth Luck, Shell Rock, Mrs Laura Sells, Mrs. Wava Luck and Ellis Jepperson all of New Hartford; three brothers; Will, Mountain Home, Ark.; Mark, Minnesota; Charles, New Hartford; three sisters; Mrs. Mable Hersey, New Hartford; Mrs. Hazel Cachelon, Fort Calhoun, Nebr., and Mrs. Vernelia Christensen, Chicago; also 11 grandchildren. His wife died March 9, 1938.
Funeral services were held Friday October 28 at the First Baptist Church and burial was in Oak Hill cemetery.
