Mrs. Effie C. Cortright

Services for Mrs. Effie C. Cortright, 86, of 302 Jefferson St., are pending at Locke Funeral Home. She died Monday morning at Chambersburg, Pa.

She was born June 24, 1890 in Concord, Neb., daughter of Charles and Carolyn Nelson Strand. She Married Edward Earl Cortright April 6, 1912, in Cedar Falls.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth of 600 Easton Ave., and Homer of 302 Jefferson St.; and three daughters, Mrs. Loren Poyner of 115 Bertch Ave., Mrs. James Poyner of Maitland, Fla., and Mrs. David Horney of Shippensburg, Pa.

Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Wednesday.
