Obituary for Heiko Henry Leerhoff

Services planned Thursday Afternoon for Heiko Leerhoff
Local man passed away suddenly at his home on Monday afternoon.
Rites will be held in St. James Lutheran Church

Heiko Leerhoff, 85, passed away suddenly at his home here on Monday afternoon.
Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday afternoon in St. James Lutheran Chuch, with Rev. Reid Neve in charge. Burial will be in Allison Cemetery.
Mr. Leerhoff was born August 1, 1883 at Peoria, Illinois, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Leerhoff. He came to Butler Co. and settled with his parents on a farm near Allison.
He was united in marriage with Cassie Gerjerts on December 24, 1903. They made their home on a farm near Allison. Three children were born to this union. Following the death of Mrs. Leerhoff on August 20, 1927, he later married Hillane Weiland on August 20, 1927. The couple lived on a farm until 1938 when they moved to Allison. They were the parents of two children, Galen F. and Donna.
He is survivied by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. John Heeren (Jurene) of Hampton, Mrs. HenryVan Allen (Bernice), and Mrs. Milton Coon (Donna) of Janesville, WI.; two sons, Irving of Clarksville, and Galen F. of Placentia, California; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother and a sister.
