Frank Parker, a member of the board of trustees, was born in the Province of Ontario, Canada, March 12, 1848. In 1860 his parents came to the United States, and settled in Grant county, Wisconsin, where he lived until 1872, when he came to Iowa and settled in Butler county, and bought land in Washington township, section 16, where he now lives. He was married in 1875 to Miss Ellen Kenefick. They have five children – Mary, Martha, Leonard, Edmund A., and John C.
