D. J. Marts, of Pennsylvania, a man of good general education, but not very well read in law, was admitted to the bar and commenced practice in Greene late in the seventies, but did not continue long. He had been living upon a farm near Greene, and had taught school considerable prior to his admission. He is now in Nebraska.
