John Lutter was my great-grandfather. Needless to say, we have heard a different story re: the shooting, but the result was the same.
We are currently looking for information on George Lutter, a son of John Lutter who left home many years ago never to be heard from again.
We have found his grave site, in Kingman, AZ, and are currently engaged in an effort to secure a military grave marker for his grave.
Would enjoy hearing from you... John Lutter has several descendents still living in the Ledyard area.
