Louise Frieda Andersen
December 22, 1916 - January 15, 2008

Louise Frieda Andersen was born on December 22, 1916, in rural Woden, Iowa, to Fred and Louise Mayland Baade. She attended school in rural Wesley, Iowa, and Guckeen, Minnesota.

Having started at a young age, she worked as a housekeeper for many years. In addition, she was employed as a telephone operator in Rolfe, Iowa, for a short time.

On December 28, 1948, Louise married Francis Andersen at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ft. Dodge, Iowa. They lived in Ft. Dodge until 1956 when they moved to their new home in Humboldt, Iowa. Francis died on July 26, 1981. A few years later, Louise moved to Titonka. She was a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church and the Women's Circle.

Louise enjoyed embroidering, playing cards, listening to music, and especially baking. She reserved her greatest love, however, for her family. The family always looked forward to getting together and enjoying her specialty–home baked bread.

Louise entered the Titonka Care Center in 1986. She passed away there on Tuesday, January 15, 2008, at the age of 91.

Louise is survived by two sisters: Sophie Cambra, and husband, Tony, of Redwood Valley, California, and Evelyn Wise, and her husband, Earnest, of Titonka, Iowa; and three sisters-in-law, Marie Baade, of Humboldt, Iowa, Meredee Baade, of Gowrie, Iowa, and Fern Baade, of Lincoln, Nebraska; as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her sister, Joan Fox; and five brothers, Ernest, John, Henry, William, and Fred Baade.

Interment: Albert City Cemetery [Fairfield Twp.], Albert City, Iowa.
