Memorial services will be held for Elden Schmidt on Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church in Marathon. Fellowship after the services at the Marathon Community Center.

Elden was born on April 13, 1933, and passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2010.
Elden was last known to be living in Golden, Missouri.
He graduated from Cornell High School in Cornell, Iowa.
During the Korean War, he served his country in the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife Dorthy.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 19, 2010, in Grace Lutheran Church, Holiday Island, Arkansas. Pastor Kenneth Haydon will conduct the services. A second Celebration of Life will be held in Iowa at a later date.

A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2010, in Grace Lutheran Church in Holiday Island, Ark.
Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
