Kathy Jane Miller, age 52, of Storm Lake, Iowa, died on Sunday, March 6, 2016, in Laurens, Iowa.

Kathy Asche, a daughter of Wilbur and Norma (Hippen) Asche, was born on April 22, 1963, in Buffalo Center, Iowa. She attended grade school in Ledyard, Iowa, and later graduated from North Kossuth High School in 1981 where she started as a four sport athlete. She, then, continued her education at Buena Vista College where she earned a degree in business.

On December 22, 1984, Kathy married Timothy Miller in Lakota, Iowa. Subsequently, they were blessed with one daughter, Felisha Kay.

Kathy served as a Girl Scout Leader and also was an AVON sales representative for over twelve years.

Kathy had a passion for “couponing” and could, always, find a good deal. She loved animals, especially cats, and was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan. She, also, loved movies and music. Most of all, however, she loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be, deeply, missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Timothy Miller, of Storm Lake, Iowa; her daughter, Felisha Miller (Daryn Luce), also of Storm Lake, Iowa; her sisters, Connie (Dave Johnson) Salas, of Storm Lake, Iowa, and Patty (Leonard) Froslan, of Lewisville, Minnesota; her nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Eric) Burnside, Jeremy Salas, and Billy and Kevin (Autumn) Froslan; her aunts and uncles, Eddie (Gloria) Asche, Leona Farrow, and LaMae and Larry (Judy) Hippen; her father-in-law, Tom Miller; her sister-in-law, Michele (Brad) Bergeman; and brothers-in-law, Steve and Bruce Miller; as well as other extended family members and friends.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Kenneth.

Graveside services will be held Friday, March 11, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Storm Lake. Visitation will take place Thursday, March 10, 2016, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.
