Marian Mildred Anderson, 87, of Albert City, died on Thursday, January 8, 1998, in Albert City.

Marian was born on July 10, 1910, in Albert City to Axel and Delia Anderson. She graduated from Lincoln-Lee High School in 1928. On Dec. 27, 1941, she married George Anderson. They were blessed with a son.

Marian was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Albert City. She enjoyed golf, bowling, and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband — George Anderson; a brother — Clarence Anderson; and four sisters — Ada Swanson, Nannie Anderson, Ethel Anderson, and Pearl Crone.

Survivors include a son —Gary Anderson, and his wife, Christine Plummer, Jacksonville, Florida; a grandson; and two step-grandchildren; as well as other relatives.

Services for will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 1998, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Albert City, Rev. Marvin Robeck officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairfield Township Cemetery, Albert City. The Sliefert Funeral Home, Albert City, is in charge of arrangements.
