Violet Konradi, age 79, of Storm Lake, Iowa, died on Thursday, April 10, 2014, at the Methodist Manor Retirement Community in Storm Lake.

A daughter of Jon and Marie Leona (Hanson) Seibold, Violet Marie was born on December 23, 1934, in Danbury, Iowa. Growing up, she attended school in Danbury.

On July 19, 1952, Violet married Robert B. Konradi in Danbury. They were blessed with three children: Joy, Larry, and Lee. Violet spent her life as a homemaker, caring for her children. She also worked as a sales clerk at the Ben Franklin. A member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Storm Lake, she belonged to St. Mary’s Guild as well. In addition, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and playing Bingo. She loved complimenting people on their looks and pretty clothes.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Joy (Randy) Schuler, of Storm Lake, Iowa, and Larry (Kathy) Konradi, of Watertown, South Dakota; her grandchildren: Chad (Di) Konradi, Bobbi Jo (Nate) Soupir, Lisa (John) Dukes, Molly (Chad) LaFave, Heath (Danielle) Humpal, and Joshua (Desirae) and Matthew Murray; her great-grandchildren: Kami, Kris, and Jasmine Konradi; Emma and Brevin LaFave; Josie and Taylor Dukes; Holdyn Humpal; and Caden Murray; her sister, Marian (Carl) Hageman, of Hampton, Iowa; her brother, Leo Seibold of Sioux City, Iowa; and her sisters-in-law: Laura Madsen, Karen Seibold, and Faye Konradi; as well as extended family members and friends.

Violet was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bob; her son, Lee; her brothers, Richard “Dick” and Marvin Seibold; and her sisters, Lorene Harris and Agnes Messanbrink.

Visitation: 4:00-7:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 4:00 p.m., April 13, 2014, at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m., April 14, 2014, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Vigil Service: 7:00 p.m., April 13, 2014, at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Interment: April 14, 2014, at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Storm Lake, Iowa.
