Maria del Carmen Bucheli, age 47, of Storm Lake, Iowa, died on Friday, September 20, 2013, at the North Shore Medical Center in Miami, Florida.
Maria del Carmen Puga was born on April 23, 1966, in Nueva Italia, Michoacan, Mexico, the daughter of Victoriano Puga and Adela Cuevas.
On June 10, 1997, Carmen married Harley Bucheli in Palmdale, California. This union was blessed with four children: Kendra, Raisa, Jaleesa, and Harley, Jr.
An active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Storm Lake, Carmen, also, participated in a prayer group at the church. A loving and supportive mother, sister, and friend, she always took pride in offering her family a warm and comfortable home. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Harley Bucheli, of Storm Lake; her children: Kendra, Raisa, Jaleesa, and Harley Bucheli, Jr., also all of Storm Lake; her father, Victoriano Puga, of Nueva Italia, Mexico; four brothers, Jose Guadadupe, Javier, Victor, and Rogelio Puga; and two sisters: Candelaria and Chemi Puga; as well as extended family members and friends.
Carmen was preceded in death by her mother, Adela Cuevas.
Visitation: 5:00-8:00 p.m., September 27, 2013, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Mass of Christian Burial: 12:00 p.m., September 28, 2013, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Storm Lake, Iowa.
