Jackie Jeffrey, age 56, of Storm Lake, Iowa, died on May 15, 2013, at the Methodist Manor Retirement Community in Storm Lake.
Jackie Price was born on June 5, 1956, in Storm Lake, Iowa, the daughter of Norman and Verna (Rothmeyer) Price. Baptized into the Catholic faith, she attended grade school at St. Mary’s and graduated from Storm Lake High School in 1974. She, then, furthered her education at Iowa Lakes Community College in Estherville, Iowa.
For several years, she owned and operated Jackie’s Next to New Consignment Store in Storm Lake before going to work at Hy-Vee for thirteen years.
In her spare time, Jackie enjoyed golfing, playing Scrabble or a good game of Euchre, and solving the puzzles in her Sudoku books.
Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Verna Price, of Storm Lake, Iowa; her sons: Shawn (Eva) Jeffrey, of Milford, Iowa, and Nicholas Jeffrey, of Milford, Iowa; her step grandchildren: John and William Obenour; her brother, Brian (Connie) Price, of Fort Myers, Florida; and her sister, Janet (James) DeMars, of Tempe, Arizona; as well as extended family members and friends.
Jackie was preceded in death by her father, Norman Price, and her son, Christopher Jeffrey.
Visitation: 5:00-8:00 p.m., May 21, 2013, at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., May 22, 2013, at the United Methodist Church in Storm Lake, Iowa.
