Sherry Mills, age 70, of Storm Lake, Iowa, died on Monday, November 5, 2018, at the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake.

Sherry, a daughter of Ernest and Virginia (Hobbs) Seeley, was born on April 26, 1948, in Galva, Iowa. In her youth, she attended grade school and high school in Galva, graduating from Galva High School in 1966. That summer, she married Douglas Mills on June 12, 1966, in Sioux Rapids, Iowa. They were, subsequently, blessed with four children: Tami, Dawn, Jennifer, and Diana.

In her free time, she enjoyed fishing with Doug, watching “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” (SVU), reading (especially Victoria Holt novels), and playing poker.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Tami (John) Thomas, of Storm Lake, Iowa, Dawn Richman, of Lubbock, Texas, Jeni (Rafael) Flores, of Storm Lake, Iowa, and Diana (Erik) Stough, of Alta, Iowa; her brother, Phillip (Sue) Seeley, of Cherokee; her grandchildren: Lan Huong and Nam Brown; Carlos and Emily Cruz; Emma and Grace Mills; Samantha Obman; Dylan and Jessica Richman; Erik (Quinn) Stough; and Eve Thomas; and her great-grandchildren, Nam Brown and Kurenai Phimsen. Sherry was preceded in death by her husband, Doug Mills; her parents, Ernest and Virginia Seeley; her brother, James Seeley; and her sisters, Betty Haselhoff and Lois Syndergaard.
