Dee A. Nissen, age 72, of Storm Lake, Iowa, died on Monday, September 24, 2018, at the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake.

Dee (Rath) Nissen, a daughter of Walter Rath and Jannica Findley, was born on October 25, 1945. The oldest of five girls, she went on to have four children of her own. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, watching T.V., reading, shopping, and eating chocolate.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Doug and Megan; her sisters, Sue and Janni; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Dee was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Linda and Marlie; and two children, Lori and Shane.

No services are planned.
