July 11, 1925 - November 4, 2017

Lois Wagener, age 92, of Storm Lake, Iowa, died on November 4, 2017, at the Methodist Manor Retirement Community in Storm Lake.

Lois A. Bish, a daughter of Eldon and Dorothy (Hansen) Bish, was born on July 11, 1925, in Newell, Iowa. A graduate of Newell High School, she, later, worked there as a secretary. On December 10, 1944, she married Everett M. Wagener in Newell. Subsequently, they were blessed with four children: Randy, Rebecca, Deborah, and Timothy.

A member of the Harmonettes singing group and the Heartlanders Country Western dance group, she, also, served actively as a church organist. An excellent cook, she will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. In addition, as a devout animal lover, she passed her compassion along to others.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Becky (Melvin) Brunk, of Dickinson, North Dakota, Deb (Ron Hamilton) Wagener, of Storm Lake, Iowa, and Tim Wagener, also of Storm Lake, Iowa; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Lois was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Everett, in 1985; her son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Julie Wagener; and her sisters, Evelyn Anderson and Wanda Daniels.

Per Lois' request, there will be no services.
