Sue Kathleen Foster, age 64, of Schaller, Iowa, and formerly of Storm Lake, Iowa, died on March 11, 2017, at her home in Schaller.

Susan Kathleen, a daughter of Rosemary (Porter) Marksbury, was born on October 5, 1952, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Baptized into the Catholic faith in Fort Dodge, Sue attended grade school in Fort Dodge and high school in Storm Lake after moving to Storm Lake. On November 22, 1976, she married Terry Lee Foster in Storm Lake. Subsequently, they were blessed with three children: Joshua, Alicia, and Cody.

Sue worked as a waitress at the Lakeshore Café in Storm Lake for many years. She liked her job and loved visiting with the customers. In her spare time, she enjoyed interior decorating. She treasured the outdoors and especially loved gardening. Moreover, she truly loved horses and had a passion for horseback riding. Sue will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Joshua Foster, of Sac City, Iowa, Alicia (Brian) Dahm, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Cody Foster, of Sioux City, Iowa; her soulmate, Ron Wright, of Schaller, Iowa; Ron’s sons, Trevor Wright, of Schaller, Iowa, and Cody (Emily) Wright, of Holstein, Iowa; her brother, Richard (Julie) Case, of Cherokee, Iowa; and her sister-in-law, Lucy Case, of Rock Springs, Wyoming; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many friends. Sue was preceded in death by her mother, Rosemary Marksbury; her husband, Terry Foster; and her brother, Dennis Case.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. at the Fratzke and Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home before the service. There will be no burial. The Fratzke and Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is overseeing the arrangements.
