FRENTRUP - Sandra Mae Frentrup (Stark), age 68, left this earth for her heavenly Home on December 31, 2016, with her husband and daughter by her side. She loved her Lord Jesus Christ and was looking forward to seeing his face.

Sandee was born in Storm Lake, Iowa, to John and Lois Stark [on August 26, 1948]. She graduated from Storm Lake High School in 1966 and Iowa Lutheran Hospital as an X-Ray Technician in 1968. For twenty-eight years, she worked for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education as a Representative for their live classes in Grand Rapids, Lansing, and Kalamazoo. In addition, after thirteen years of service, she retired as a Sales Associate with the Target Corp (J L Hudson, Marshall Fields, Dayton-Hudson).

Sandee had a passion for traveling, having gone on eighteen cruises including five trips to the Caribbean, three trips to Europe, and two trips to Hawaii in addition to trips to Russia, China, Alaska, and Panama. While traveling, she, always, took lots of pictures, another hobby she enjoyed. She, especially, enjoyed traveling with her grandchildren and showing them special places.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lois Stark, and her in-laws, Donald E. and Gloria Frentrup. She is survived by her loving husband of twenty-two years, Don Frentrup; her first husband and the father of her children, Steve (Becky) Deer, their daughter, Shelby (Tim) Clay; and her son, Spencer (Karli) Deer; her grandchildren: Donnie, Timmie, Joey, Ally, and Robbie Clay and Corey, Sydney, and Calen Deer; her sister, Tricia Taylor; and her nieces: Shaunna (Dirk, Greta, Greighson) Fankhauser and Sherae (Jason, Stella, Julia) Brown; along with many friends and extended family members.

As per her request, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will follow at the Resurrection Cemetery and Mausoleum in the Spring. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 27, 2017, at Banner of Christ Church, 1111 - 68th St. SW, Byron Center. Relatives and friends may meet Sandee’s family Friday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Sandee may be made to Faith Hospice.
