Steven Lee
May 5, 1949 – September 27, 2016

Surrounded by his family and friends, Steven Lee, age 67, of Storm Lake, passed away peacefully at the Sioux City Mercy Medical Center on September 27th. He is survived by wife, Kia Xiong Lee, eight sons, five daughters, and nineteen grandchildren.

Steven was born in Xieng Khouang, Laos, on May 5th, 1949. He served as a Lieutenant during the Secret War in Vietnam. Then, he became a respected teacher in his village with students of various ages. In 1986, however, he gathered his family together and fled to the refugee camps in Thailand. Shortly thereafter, he and his family came to the United States and settled in Wisconsin.

An avid hunter, Steven, also, loved to garden when he wasn't working. After retiring in 2015, he devoted his time to raising his youngest daughter and tending to his farm. Steven's funeral will be held in St. Paul, Minnesota. He will be laid to rest in Menomonie, Wisconsin.
