Died in Storm Lake on Sunday morning at half past four, Jan 21, 1877 of congestion of the bowels, Frank Maulshagen, aged 29.

Only a few days since The Pilot contained the death notice of Mrs Katie Maulshagen, wife of Frank, and now we are called upon to chronicle the death of the husband and father.

Two little children are left father and motherless, the oldest being about 3 years and the youngest 13 months and two weeks of age. We learn that Franks mother from Wisconsin is here and will take the children home with her. The funeral took place Monday afternoon.
