STORM LAKE PILOT TRIBUNE - Thu, Jul 29, 1937 - Mrs Susan Stull, resident of Storm Lake and this vicinity for the past 56 years, passed away at her home 725 Superior street, July 27 at 4:17 p.m. at the age of 82 years, 5 months, and 15 days. She had been confined to her bed 10 weeks before her death following a broken hip.

Funeral services were held today Thursday. Interment was made in the Storm Lake cemetery.

Susan A Potts was born in Lancaster, PA Feb 12, 1855. In 1872 she came to Sterling, IL where on Sept 23, 1874 she was united in marriage to George F Stull. To this union 7 children were born: Bert M Stull, Grace F Gaylord, Ralph C Stull, Bessie M Moore, Fannie F Spooner (deceased), Ruth E Hicks, and Morton M Stull.

They moved to a farm in Grant township in 1881, where they resided until 1916, when they retired and moved to the home in Storm Lake in which she lived until her death.

Besides her children she leaves to mourn her passing 5 grandchildren: Lyle and Gail Stull, Max Moore, Keith and Dean Stull.

Mrs Stull was one of the many rugged characters who played an active part in the growth and development of the community in which she resided for so many years.
