STORM LAKE PILOT TRIBUNE - Fri, Jul 22, 1921 - The body of Charles Steffen, brother of H.H. Steffen of this city was brought to Storm Lake for burial on Monday. Mr Steffen died at Leadville, CO on July 10.

Thirty five years ago the deceased was a resident of this community for two years and as the Steffens have always really accounted Storm Lake their home, the body was brought back here for interment. Accompanying the remains were the other two brothers, W.F. Steffen of Kermen, CA and August Steffen of Remsen.

The deceased had never married. He had made his home at Leadville for several years where he was held in the highest esteem. Many old friends in this city will be grieved over his death. Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at the Lakeside church. Interment was made on the Steffen lot in Storm Lake cemetery.
