Storm Lake Register - Thu, Nov 14, 1929 - Miss Charlotte Sandel, who has been making her home with her niece, Mrs L.O. Klein, near Storm Lake for several months, passed away at the Klein home Tuesday Nov 12. Funeral services were held at the Klein home Wednesday afternoon. Burial was in the local cemetery.

Miss Sandel was born at Danville, NY April 11, 1864. She was 65 years, 7 months, and 1 day old. Her parents moved to Wisconsin when she was a small child. In 1894 the family moved to Iowa and located about 5 miles northeast of Storm Lake.

Her parents preceded her in death many years ago.

After her parents death, Miss Sandel lived with her sister, Mrs Sarah Thaves, who passed away 6 years ago and since that time she made her home with others.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews, among them being Mrs L.O. Klein of Storm Lake, Mrs J.L. Loomis of Nemaha, and H. Thaves.
