March 23, 1882 - Storm Lake Pilot - Ralph Rider was born in Yorkshire, England, March 25, 1821, moved to the US in 1851, married to Miss Jane Cargill (or Caygill) of Hazel Green, WI in 1855, and died at his home 4 miles east of Storm Lake, IA, March 19, 1882. Mr Rider has lived in Buena Vista County since 1875, respected by all who knew him. He died in the faith of a Christian. W.T.G.
