Storm Lake Pilot Tribune - Fri, Mar 8, 1918 - Walter, the little son of Mr and Mrs W.S. Rodeffer, died at the home of his parents at an early hour on Friday morning, following a short illness with tonsillitis.

The little fellow was born in Mount Morris, IL July 14, 1912 and was the idol of the hearts of his parents. He was a sturdy lad, well advanced, physically and mentally, for his age and his death is sorely mourned.

He leaves one brother, Harold, besides the grief stricken parents.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist Episcopal church Sunday afternoon and interment was made in the Storm Lake cemetery.

Those from out of town who attended the services were : Mr and Mrs Diehl and Mr Rodeffer of Mount Morris, IL; Adolph Dehling of Polo IL; and Mr and Mrs Henry Reinhardt of Dubuque.
