Storm Lake Buena Vista Vidette - Fri, Sep 4, 1903 - Mrs Owen Martz died Monday Aug 31, 1903 at 12 from dropsy at the age of 75 years, 10 months and 6 days.

Elizabeth Gross was born in Berts county, Pa Oct 1827. She was married Feb 18, 1845 to Owen Martz. To this union were born 12 children, eight of whom with the father are living to mourn for the mother. Mrs Martz had been living with her daughter, Mrs Henry Steig, for the past few years. The funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Lakeside church.
