STORM LAKE PILOT TRIBUNE - Mar 3, 1932 - John Douvia, former resident of this community and the father of Mrs. Ed Preston, died at Ottawa, IL, Tuesday, according to word received by Mrs. Preston.

His death occurred at the home of his brother, Charles, with whom he made his home. He was 82 years of age.

Mr. Douvia lived north of Storm Lake a number of years ago and had many old friends in this vicinity. His wife died two years ago.

Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. Preston, and a son, Ed Douvia living at Marcus. They were unable to attend the funeral. He also leaves four grandchildren: Will, Glen and Art Preston and Mrs. Ella Danforth and two great grandchildren, Nora and Doris Jean Preston.
