Storm Lake Pilot Tribune - June 14, 1928 - Frank Morse, a resident of Buena Vista county for 26 years, died at his home in Grant township Friday June 8, at the age of 73 years, 8 months, and 12 days.

Mr Morse was born at Rochester, VT Sept 26, 1854. He received his education in the public schools and also attended the state normal school at Randolph, VT finishing in 1873. In 1878 he came to Iowa and located in Sac county with his brother, A.M. Morse, who was already farming. While living in Sac county he taught school nearly every winter.

In 1902 he moved with his brother, A.M. Morse, to a farm in Grant township, where he continued to live until the time of his death.

Mr Morse came from English stock, his parents being among the sturdy pioneers of Vermont.

He leaves to mourn one brother, A.M. Morse of Storm Lake; two nephews: E.F. and W.C. Morse of Storm Lake; three nieces: Mrs Mabel Pensinger and Mrs Pearl Oglesby of Storm Lake, and Mrs Ruby Lawhorn of Garner and their families.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Methodist church.
