February 21, 1982 - April 26, 2016

Todd B. Twombley, age 34, of Storm Lake, Iowa, died on April 26, 2016, at his home in Storm Lake.

Todd Bernard Twombley, a son of Gregory Twombley and Kandiss Schemmel, was born on February 21, 1982, in Algona, Iowa.

In his teens, he attended North Stafford High School, graduating in 2000. While in high school, he enjoyed music and playing in the school band.

Next, Todd enlisted in the United States Army as a Bandsman in 2001. He attended the Armed Forces School of Music in Little Creek, Virginia, and served at Fort Rucker, Alabama, with the 98th Silver Wings Army Band. He was honorably discharged in 2006.

Next, he taught music lessons and worked for Make Music as a music engraver. Later, Todd moved to Storm Lake where he worked for Apple Inc. as an at home advisor.

Todd had a lifelong love for music and was very photogenic. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing computer games. He valued his family and loved spending time with them. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his father, Greg Twombley, of Woodbridge, Virginia; his mother, Kandi Anderson, of Storm Lake, Iowa; his siblings: Lauran (Christian) LoPrimo, Tyler and Lindsey Twombley, and Victoria and Anderson; three nephews: Benjamin and Sebastian LoPrimo and Connor Twombley; his grandparents: Dick and Eleanor Schemmel and Maralyn Twombley; his uncles: Wayne (Jenny) and Jim Twombley; and his cousins, Andy, Emily, and Jacob; as well as extended family members and many friends.

Todd was preceded in death by his grandfather, LeRoy Twombley; and his uncles, Steven and Todd Schemmel.

Memorial services will be held Friday, April 29, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Storm Lake. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the church. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.
