Storm Lake Pilot Tribune - June 14, 1934 - Mrs C. Lovesee, resident of Storm Lake and the comunity for nearly a half century, died at her home northeast of town Saturday morning at the age of nearly 75 years.

Mrs Lovesee had been in ill health for about 2 years. Some months ago she fell and broke her arm and later she suffered a slight stroke. She had never fully recovered but was able to be up and around. Her death Saturday was rather sudden and unexpected.

Ann Laura Wilder, daughter of Chauncey and Mary Wilder, was born at Harlen, IL July 25, 1859. She grew to womanhood and received her education there.

On March 25, 1884 she was united in marriage to Mr C.C. Lovesee at Harlen, IL After their marriage Mr and Mrs Lovesee lived on a farm near Roscoe, IL for a year. They then came to Iowa locating on a farm which they purchased north of Storm Lake. After residing on this farm for 15 years, they sold the farm and purchased the present home northeast of Storm Lake. She has since resided there with the exception of 14 years spent in Storm Lake.

To Mr and Mrs Lovesee, four children were born. One son Harry Lovesee, a veteran of the World war, died in Feb of this year. The others are Mrs Roy Brown of Longmont, Co; Dr R.G. Lovesee of Sauk Center, MN; and Ralph Lovesee at home. Mrs Brown arrived Sunday morning from Longmont to visit at the parental home. She did not know of her mothers death until after her arrival in Storm Lake.

Besides the three children, Mrs Lovesee is survived by 5 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs Sadie Shattuck of Belvidere, IL and by many other relatives and friends.

Her parents and 6 brothers: Charles, David, Clarence, Ulyssis, Frank and Dr Harry Wilder preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held from Lakeside Presbyterian church Tuesday afternoon. Interment was in the Mausoleum in the Storm Lake cemetery.
