Storm Lake Register - November 30, 1937 - Funeral services for Mrs Mary E Inman county pioneer, who passed away at her home Wednesday Nov 23, just as the Pilot Tribune was going to press, were held Friday afternoon in the Methodist church.

Mrs Inman, the daughter of Joshua and Louisa Demuth, was born at Cedar Rapids, May 1, 1856 being 81 years old at the time of her death. She was one of four children. Two brothers, Will and Frank Demuth, proceeded her in death. One sister, Mrs T.A. Corbett of Storm Lake survives.

Mrs Inman lived her entire life in Iowa. She as a resident of Buena Vista county for over 50 years and the greater part of that time was spent in Storm Lake.

On Dec 26, 1877 she was united in marriage to John T Inman, who preceded her in death in 1901. She was the mother of four children: Fern who died in infancy; Grace, wife of M.E. Tracy, who passed away in 1932; Blanche B (Mrs Wm R Cunningham) and Clifford Inman. The 3 grandchildren: Richard Inman and Veronica and Patricia Tracy.

Interment was in the local cemetery.
