Storm Lake Register - August 23, 1928 - Ole Hanson, who was taken to Iowa City some time ago by Homer Ellis, died at the University hospital there following an operation for cancer the stomach.

Mr Hanson was a harness maker in Albert City for a number of years being associated with August Boettcher. He has been in ill health for some time and has been living at the county farm for the last year. An operation became necessary and he was taken to Iowa City. He died on Saturday Aug 18, being unable to withstand the operation.
